Marc Woolnough - broken down
Mitchell White - Contract is up

plus a few other tough calls...

4. Whose time is up at the club and why?
Marc Woolnough - His knees are gone.
David Clarke - 5 years on, still can't kick and still hasn't show any understanding of the way the game is played.
Mitchell White - Retirement
Daniel Foster - Don't know what happened. Thought he was going to be a star, but lost all confidence and now struggles for a kick in the VFL.
James Rahilly - 6 years and only 64 games. He's had plenty of chances and can't secure a regular game. No more chances.
Peter Street - The single worst investment since Jack bought the magic beans.

1. (in random order) King, Scarlett, Ablett, Corey, Harley
2. GAJ gone on in leaps and bounds compared to others in the class of '02
3. Kelly, Enright and S. Johnson - all failed to make an impresion this year. Can still turn it around and have the potential to be our best three players
4. Strett, Woolnough, Foster, Lord, White, Grgic maybe Playfair and Clarke
5 Both as useless as each other. Why we didnt trade Street last year is beyond me. Even if we only got pick 40 or something. Especially with Blake coming next year
6 In Bartel/Moloney Out Clarke
7 Should he be 'YES'. Will he be "Probably No" Geelong bearly ever get anyone in there.
1. Ablett, Scarlett, Chapman, King, Corey
2. Rooke and Ablett have stepped up nicely.
In terms of out of the blue improvement, Unco.
3 That half pie - half man dude at Skilled Stadium before the game. Think he has dropped the soap too many times in the shower afterwards, doesn't have the same presence on the ground as his glory years of the late 90's.
4 Woolnough - times up, busted up.
Foster - times up, wrong size, hack
White - useless and overpaid
Grigic - battling hack
Clarke- sh*t for brains footballer
Rahilly - battling hack
Riccardi - may retire
Street - dead set useless
5. I hear the rod gets more loving from the women.....
6. Get rid of the assistant "coaches" and bring in a team that knows something about football, tatics, stratergy matchups, and motivating players.
7. We will need to finish strongly for Matty to get a look in. On form, he should be a shoe-in, but sh*t, how the hell did Pavlich get it last year?? Based on that, this years AA fullback will be Shane Birs from the Bulldogs, he is a utility player, and he did nearly burst his eyeball getting in the way of Benny's kick in Round 1....that was a defensive play right???

Out of interest, what has Playfair done (or not done) to deserve delisting?

Clarke hasn't played for a couple of weeks. Thankfully he isn't playing tomorrow either.

4. Street - because Chambers is better
Rahilly - has gone missing this year
White - injury will lead to retirement
5. Street - gives us something to talk about
6. Sack Street a'la Capuano, and bring in Carrazo
7. Yes

I said maybe Playfair because I just don't know if he will get the opportunities. We have one of the tallest lists in the AFL and he seems to be at the back of a long line of players. No doubt at the end of the year we will again be either trading or drafting a tall forward plus Blake so it becomes a question of how many talls we can have.
He hasn't done anything wrong and I hope that he goes on to be a great player for the club but right now the odds are starting to stack against him. Personaly I don't think he will get delisted this year because we already have five or six certainties to go and there is a limit to how many we will cut. However I dont see many opportunities for him over the next 18 months. That's just my view and I hope he can prove me wrong.

7. Will Matt Scarlett finally be All-Australian this year?
1. Gary Ablett, Joel Corey, Matthew Scarlett, Paul Chapman, Jarad Rooke
2. Gazz. Just ahead of Joel Corey
3. James Kelly. Hasn't kicked on as I thought he would. Steve Johnson runs a close second.
4. Where do I start? Norm Dare, Rahilly, Street, Foster, Woolnough, Clarke. All are struggling and have had plenty of opportunities to grab a regular first team spot. Dare, just doesn't know about forward line coaching.
5. Since when do we have a carbon rod? Why weren't we told about it? I demand answers! :D
6. Give Charlie Gardiner a regular senior spot.
7. Bloody hope so. If he doesn't then I think we would need a Royal Commission to discover why not.

King, then clear water to Scarlett, Joel Corey, Ling and Mooney (for comedy value)
2. Who is the Most Improved Player this year?
Joel Corey, Chapman was pretty good, but I thought he was playing pretty well in the later part of last year3. Who has been the Most Disappointing?
Bartel, was expecting big things this year, but he has gone backwards
4. Whose time is up at the club and why?
Well ignoring those close to retirement either through injury or age or those who never showed promise, then it would have be Clarke.
5. Who is more important to the team: Peter Street or An Inanimate Carbon Rod?
It is a pity this question had to be asked.
6. If you were coach, and could make ONE change, what would it be?
to remove the distributer cap from David Clarke's car on the morning of every match day.
7. Will Matt Scarlett finally be All-Australian this year
He's in the running, but he isn't head and shoulders over some others.

3. Who has been the Most Disappointing?
David Clarke... he's been around long enough now to know what is required and yet still makes the most basic of mistakes.
4. Whose time is up at the club and why?
Rahilly, Clarke, Street, Foster, White and Woolnough as they aren't players who can take Geelong to the next level.

How tall is the rod? :p

6. If you were coach, and could make ONE change, what would it be?
I would rotate Darren Milburn through the midfield more often and also give David Spriggs more time on the ground. Also, I'd have Josh Hunt kick the ball into play after every point.

If he continues his current good form, yes.
