he more than compensates for the loss of andy williams in the marking department
I said this in another thread but Ill say it again. Embley is no longer a "potential star", he IS a star. He is consistently gathering 20 disposals kicking at least 1 a game, often more and marking anything that comes near him.
I think he has had one bad game all year!
He's been fantastic, whatever Woosha said to him worked! He's been a revelation! Im so glad we kept hold of him!
Superstar, future brownlow medallist, he will be a 8x AA, and will captain the Eagles next year.
LEGEND, SUPERSTAR, CHAMPION, WORKHORSE.
I still wanna get him back for belting me at Club Bay View last year though.

I can picture the scene:
Pre-Season Training November 2002, City Beach Oval
Woosha: "Embley! If you don't <bleeping> pull your <bleeping> finger out and <bleeping> continue to act like a 2 year old in public you won't be getting a game next year. We'll take Greg <bleeping> Harding out of the Eagle mascot uniform and <bleeping> well make you dress up as the Eagle every <bleeping> week! Do I make my <bleeping> self <bleeping> clear?"
Dont know what he did over the summer but for him to play at this level and consistently rack up possessions and kick goals is fantastic
And to think i wanted Williams to stay and Embley to go :D
I can see it, Woosha arrives at Subiaco, walks in, someone hands him a coffee and a copy of the Times, he turns to the back and spots this: EMBLEY IN ANOTHER PUB BRAWL!. He spits out his coffee and opens up his door and screams at the top of his lungs, EMBLEY! GET IN HERE!!!!
Embley strolls in with a massive hangover and says...Yeah??
Woosha: Whats this supposed to mean?????-pointing at article

Embley-tears well up in his eyes and he starts to sob: Please Woosha- Im sorry. I dont mean to get like that, its just all those docker players I get around with, they make me do bad things. Please dont delist me!
