Good to see the young boys putting a bit of pressure on the senior side:
Best: Watson, Richards, Forster-Knight, C.McGrath, Carter, Bannister
Who's Carter?
Former Fitzroy, Brisbane, Melbourne player Nick Carter. Bendigos captain.

watson will play next match
Sorry to intrude, but i actually was at the game on Sunday to support Port.
Tidy performance by your boys. Was a crap day and a pretty scrappy game, but your mob always seemed to have the edge and were just a bit more committed to support eachother and run harder to get numbers around the ball.
I posted my impressions of Watson on the main board (if the reports are right thread) so i wont go into him to much, except to say that he certainly seems to have a heap of class and a fair footy brain on him already, but geez he needs to lose the puppy fat!! Big unit!
He really seemed to be blowing pretty hard in some points of the game and doesnt move particularly well, but you can see he will be a player once he gets his fitness to the required level. Terrific hands on the boy.
Ted Richards was bloody good. Took Teague to the cleaners when he was on him and another of our pretty likely young fellas, Rod Crowe who has a bit of talent. Richards marked very well and was terrific when it hit the deck. Played predominantly in the forward 50 and was a lively target all day.
McGrath was BOG IMO. Was everywhere and seemed really desperate, particularly in the 50/50's around your half back line.
And that Low**** can take a grab. Still very raw, and seems to struggle in the ruck, but was very lively around the half forward line when he was there, although his kicking is a bit of a mixed bag. But someone needs to have a word about that hair style!! Whats going on there?!?!
Anyway, carry one.

two wins a row!
go bendigo!
ces put in a solid performance, playing the full 4 quarters, pulling in a few solid marks and whilst not dominating, controlled the ruck and would probably get votes
mercs didn't set the world on fire, but did alot of hard work - tackling, spoiling.. got about 15 possesions, kicked a goal, then got a poke in the eye and had to leave the ground after three quarters.
mcgrath would be pushing for selection after getting a stack of the ball after half time, and teddy richards was superb playing both up foward and down back.
Bendigo are always going to be stronger, when the senior list has little to no injuries.
The form Bendigo now records from here will be of great interest.
