Sweet FA Round 3 : Roys Selections (attn Mr Ripper and Roylion)

We had a big win and most players played really well. Those that didn't stay played ok.

Paul D is to be rested this week due to a virus (this is compulsory according to the rules of the league).

I feel gregtri did a reasonable job in Round 1 so I'm ready to recall him. So how about we make a straight swap : gregtri for Paul D :

The only players who were fairly quiet were fitzmantle and Wayde Petersen. The rest in my opinion should be a walk-up-start to keep their place.

So I'd like to give another couple of supplementary players a run ... while at the same time we shouldn't shake up the team too much.

So I'm in a quandary. Should we give Wayde and fitzmantle a break? If we do, who would we replace them with?

It must be taken into account that Wayde was only given 21 minutes game time, so if you quadrupled his stats he'd have 12 possessions, so perhaps he should not be dropped, especially considering this was his first run.

Hmm Phil Doyle actually didn't do too badly in round 1 ... but then either did Accubass for that matter. Should we get stuck into bolstering the backline (accubass) or add to what is currently our major strength, our goalkicking power (Phil Doyle managed three shots on goal in Round 1).

Okay my suggestion is to make just two changes : gregtri for Paul D (virus) and Phil Doyle for fitzmantle (omitted).

What do you think?

Ive been out on the training track all week practising my kicking, so hopefully this week, i can find the big sticks. Looking at my stats last week i thought i played a real Doc Wheildon style game, lots of strong marks, but couldnt kick straight!
