In victoria we dont get the NRL footy show till late, but i hear the NRL footy show is really struggling in NSW (rates less than The Bounce did in victoria when it was cut according to Herald Sun). Which is better? I think the AFL but have only seen the NRL 3-4 times.
Used to prefer the NRL about 6 - 7 years ago when they Faty, Sterlo, the Chief and Matt ashosts. Had many great segments like the ones with Ryan Girdler and Reg Raegen. These days I don't really watch it unless im up at middnight not doing anthing and i think the AFL one is much better at the moment. I'd prefer it if they stopped having Crawf and Billy on every bloody week.

NRL Footy Show is amateur hour. I mean at times it's really painful to watch.
It was good fun a few years back as someone here has mentioned. When Matty and The Chief left it went to shit. Chiefs "that's gold" was one of my favorite segments.
Still it's always been AFL FS > NRL FS mainly thanks to Sam of course.

The AFL one is quite lame but the NRL one is really terrible.

Christ I can't believe what I'm reading. The AFL footy show competes with Neighbours and the likes for the most cringe worthy show on Australian television.
It's completely and utterly trash. I mean, it's not good by ANY stretch of the imagination. It's one of the few shows I will actually think less of someone if they watch and enjoy it on any level.
Yeah, the NRL footy show is bad - but ****, it's not AFL footy show bad.

Yeah the AFL Footy Show is better than the NRL Footy Show but that's not saying much. The NRL one has gone downhill big time since Matty Johns left.
The Matty Johns Show on Seven, which is the NRL version of The Bounce is a much better show. Has some pretty funny segments on there.
The two worst shows on television. Paul "Fatty" Vautin is an embarrassment to the NRL, but he is nothing compared to the idiot Sam Newman. Why this mutated skunk is allowed on television is beyond me, he is a joke, and so is my Club President for being associated with him and defending him.

Without Matty and Chief it's pretty shit these days. Haven't seen the AFL one in a while, but if it's still the same then there both equally as shit.

They're both pretty shit.
NRL:Wendell Sailor seems to love himself, that fat guy called Darryl always tries to be funny (in skits or otherwise) and is not. The only half decent thing are the Beau Knows segments. I don't even know why but I dislike Andrew Voss.
AFL: Only decent part of the show for years has been street talk, but even that's gone down the shitter. The bagging of Gary Lyon about everything has been done to death, its ridiculous.
