Contact between Essendon’s Tyson Slattery and the Adelaide Crows’ Bernie Vince from the second quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Slattery was attempting to shepherd Vince from his teammate when contact was made. The initial contact was made to Vince’s upper arm area and then slides up to make high contact. The action was not deemed to be a striking action and no further action was taken.

Cale Hooker, Essendon, has been charged with a Level Two striking offence against Phil Davis, Adelaide Crows, during the third quarter of the Round 14 match between Essendon and the Adelaide Crows, played at AAMI Stadium on Saturday July 5, 2010.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record with an early plea.

Have seen him play a few times this year and have not seen any 'agro' in the kid at Bendigo. Is good to see a young guy come into the seniors and have (as one poster alluded to) "a little bit of runt" in him.

Good on the kid for not being intimidated.
