I created the above thread on 19 June 2010. I believe that we got zero takers from that advertisement (unless if that's where sblack heard about us?) but that's not what irks me.
Three people posted on that thread. One is a Fitzroy fan who plays here. One is a Fitzroy & Brisbane fan who plays for an opposition Sweet FA team, and one is an Essendon fan who plays here.
It was really hard to badger people on the Brisbane board when we're not Brisbane fans. Surely someone on our Roys team list, is also a Brissie fan, and could have lent us a hand?

I caved in and posted a heartfelt plea to members to explore their options in regard to joining us on our march to premiership glory. I carry a fair bit of weight over on the Lions board so no doubt we will be inundated with prospective recruits*.
*Fabrication, I carry no weight at all over there.:o

one is a fitzroy & brisbane fan who plays for an opposition sweet fa team, but knows he rightfully belongs to us and if he knows what is good for him will return home post haste!!!
