Does anyone here watch Buffy, the Vampire Slayer? Does anyone know why Seven has suddenly started playing repeats? When do they cut back to the current series?
At least Nine announced (for a change) that Sopranos and West Wing would be off for a week or two for Wimbledon.
Typical bloody TV networks.

They're trying to sync the Willow crossover between Buffy and Angel.
When Buffy started last week it was at 11:10 - with no notice - and was a repeat! Not happy Jan.

funny, cause i looked in the tv guide that day, it said buffy was starting at 11:10, and there was a little r next to it, indicating a repeat episode. That's plenty of notice if you ask me...

Yeah but I lost that day's TV guide, didn't I? :p
There weren't any specific ads, is what I mean.
It's extremely annoying that they have suddenly gone back to repeats, particularly because we are only around about 6 or 7 episodes, if that, from the end of the entire show!

it's so ****ting me! I hang out each week for my one little bit of escapism and get repeats! I already know what happens but i wanna see it! And if they were trying to line up the crossover why were they putting repeats of angel on a couple of weeks back as well? grrrrr

that was to line up a different crossover...
I think it's ironic that in about 6 or 7 weeks depending on how many more repeats they show and Buffy the series is finished for good we will all be begging for repeats. I'd like to see them start the whole series over.

Get Foxtel - it's on a couple of times a week, and there are frequently full season marathons. I rarely watch the repeats though.

But Fox only do seasons 1-5 don't they because of the WB to UPN swap?
Buy them on DVD or rent them if you can - very much worth the money from s4 onwards because of the numerous special features. Joss Whedon is god!

Or, apparently, borrow them from someone.
Joss Whedon's audio commentaries on some episodes are alone worth the price of admission.
Plus season 4 and later appear in excellent widescreen ;)

Ah - didn't realise that later season Buffy wasn't on Foxtel. That explains it!! Might rent the DVDs some time soon.

yeah that network change-over was a bit of a bugger, but at least there's still an unlimited supply of Angel!
