Thats right, priority tickets go on sale from tomorrow for the Brisbane and Adelaide tests for those who are a member of the Australian Cricket Family. If you're not, tough luck, just be quick for when it goes on public sale.

To buy, you need that email from the ACF with your special number in it. Should have got one today as a final reminder for the tickets.

Secured the first 3 days for Brisbane, although a bit disappointed to be sitting in virtually the same spot for Days 2-3 BUT at least I'm there. Now the wait for Melbourne (and asking work today to determine whether to book for Boxing Day or for Day 2 as well.

Boxing Day isn't going to sell out for atleast a couple of weeks so you've got plenty of time.

Just a question though. What's the best bay to sit to be among the atmosphere of the Barmy Army and Bay 13? Would Bay 10 be good?

For Day 1? Are you sure? Because in 2006 I was up all night battling for tickets for the first day. Obviously this year doesn't have the same attractions, but I'm not taking any risks :p

I can't remember the last time I didn't sit in the family zone for Boxing Day :/ But Bay 8-10 is where I sit for LOI/Bushrangers game and the atmosphere is great there.

I'm certainly going to get in as early as I can for Boxing Day, although being in Darwin may complicate matters. Will book Day 2 tix as well even though I may not be able to go if I'm required to work on the 28th of December.

Disappointing that there are no level M seats left. Gonna ring and try and get seats.

Edit: Got Q8 row B. Not level 1, but it's probably the next best thing. Right above the Barmy Army. :thumbsu:

Ahh, didn't try family zone. Ahh well, atmosphere would be crap for that. Atleast your there.

Is it safe to wait a couple of weeks before I get day 3/4 tickets? I'm currently broke as a result. :p

By the way, you may want to use this to choose your tickets for any ground. It has an image from every bay/section.

Yeah the atmosphere there is alright, as long as you get a full crowd. Which it should be.

Day 3/4 won't sell out for months, you could probably get them on the day. Thanks for the link btw, do they have one for the football?

Day 3/4 won't sell out for months, you could probably get them on the day. Highly doubt that. The first 3 days of the corresponding test back in 2006 had 80,000.

Thanks for the link btw, do they have one for the football?
Pfft, it's the AFL. As if they'd have one. They're useless.

Wait... here's the closest one you'll get to one. It's for the G. It's only got a few bays.

I'm probably going to get T20 tickets in the next week or so though. Another big crowd for that.

No tickets will be dispatched until further notice. Currently it is estimated ticket printing will commence in mid September 2010, however please check this page for further updates and confirmation of printing dates.
Customers who purchase tickets via the internet or call centre can choose the required delivery method and once printing has commenced tickets will be mailed (where applicable). Customers who purchase tickets at a Ticketek Agency during the print suppression period will need to go back to a Ticketek City Box Office Agency once printing has commenced to collect their tickets. Bit annoyed with ticketek atm. Wanting to get General Reserve seating for the T20, however it's only giving me Bay 13, and I don't want to sit in Bay 13. I actually want to watch the cricket.

Tried calling them and they asked me for concession numbers. I don't know my number let alone the numbers of 3 of my mates.

Both Ticketek and Ticketmaster is a joke. YOu can't select a bay, you have to take what the computer says is 'best available'. And when you ring up, they give you the same tickets as what is being offered online. :thumbsd:

Ah that explains it

From an email I recieved july 9

Following a recent meeting with the Barmy Army in London CATO (Cricket Australia Travel Office) have confirmed that Cricket Australia have maintained the firm stance that they have adopted since 2006/07 with England suporters and that they will not be making ticket only packages available to any of the authorised tour ...operators including the Barmy Army.

The Barmy Army are offering the cheapest ticket and accommodation packages on the market and details of all the packages are available on www.barmyarmy.com (http://www.barmyarmy.com/)

We can now advise that the Barmy Army supporters travelling on official packages are very likely to be sitting in the following areas at each venue:

Gabba bays 31 and 32

Adelaide Oval General Admission

Waca blocks 1 and 2

MCG M15 and M16 Gt Southeren Stand

SCG (Venue still to be formally confirmed) but if it is the SCG it will more than likely be blocks 8 and 9 O'Reilly stand

Perth was later updated to Block 13 and Sydney to Bay 11.

My tickets for Brisbane are Bay 31 & the Melbourne tests are all M15
