Went and saw Lou Barlow doing solo show at Enigma last night.
Unfortunately he was hammered and whilst starting off well the show just deteriorated into half played songs and dribble.
Whilst it was funny at times I really just wanted to hear some good ol Sebadoh and Sentridoh songs plus whatever covers he felt like playing.
I saw him with Sebadoh in 96 at Liberty and that was very dis-jointed. Saw them again in Melbourne in 99 and that gig is in my top 3 shows of all time.
1 out of 3, oh well!
Anyone else see this gig or has anyone seen The Folk Implosion on their current tour? What was your opinion?
