3. Pev
2. Cupes
1. Mcveigh....clubs best tackler, pretty handy for a pretty boy.
Just about agree with those. Could add in Jacobs with 27 touches. Hird and also MJ gathered a lot of the ball too.
3. Pev (career best game statisically)
2. Cupido
1. Anyone of Macca or the players I've named above.

Honorable mensch to Bolts, Misiti, Lucas & Spike, and Reynolds. I guess Joel showed us all that maybe his selection wasn't such a bad thing.
A lot of fringe players seemed to have stepped up.
Lloyd sure had a shocker though.

Hird, McVeigh, Reynolds and all the usual suspects already named quite unlucky.
3. Peverill - Will be pretty handy if we have this bloke running into some form for the second half of the season
2. Cupido - 5 goals from a small forward, what more could you ask for (except maybe the odd handpass ;) )
1. M Johnson - Love this bloke, heart as big as J Johnson!
Jacobs would have got into the votes, but I thought he was somewhat indecisive when he had the ball and made some silly mistakes. Also thought Reynolds is starting to show something.
Was it just me, or did Hirdy look a little tentative early in the match. Didnt seem to keen to contest the ball.

I only saw the 2nd half so I can't really give votes.
I do like how Bolton is fitting in across half-forward - gives us another target, and a fairly reliable one at that. Although other clubs will realise this soon....
Also, Welsh is going to be very very good. :)
Nice to see some of you finally starting to realise that McVeigh can actually play too. It's amazing what a bit of decent time on the ground can do.......

I'd put a vote in for Welsh next to Pev, just for the east keilor bias.

Great stuff by the boys - thanks to Damien Peverill for making a complete idiot out of me after my comments a couple of weeks ago.
3. Pev - well done at proving me wrong
2. Cupido - needs to string another one together now
1. Hird
great to see reynolds and a few of the other second tier players to lift, lets hope it happens on a more regular basis!
Misiti not to be outdone, seems to be improving as the year goes on, good stuff smokin'!

By the way Drew, I had to boot from the locker room after the game. Was meeting up with someone so sorry for not hanging around.
