Hardwick said he had not been to Geelong since he was a schoolboy and his father would take him to watch Fitzroy play there each season – because, as a little tacker from Upwey-Tecoma in the Dandenongs, he was a Fitzroy fan.

Pffft ... like Hardwick would get a game in this team :p
(thanks, we'll probably make him captain!)
Even more importantly, has he kicked any goals this season?
We had a few narrow losses a while back, and a couple of goals here and there might just improve our standing a little . . . ;)

Uh....he last kicked a goal in Round 4, 2001 for Essendon....and before that 2 goals against Port in Round 17, 1997. Is that any good for you? :D

Thanks Porthos. Good enough for us. He's in.

Pretty sure that's correct Mobs. A few scores may need re-checking towards the early rounds though, considering we added a few players as the weeks went on. Not sure if that would affect some of those close losses or not . . .

Nah wouldn't have to revisit them, as we may have added players later on, but they wouldn't have been selected in the earlier matches!
