Hilarious passage in the final quarter last night.

The one where Leppa and Richo contest the ball and it spills to the ground. Leppa goes back and retreives it, looks at Richo, steps, swivels, pivots, turns Richo inside out, walks around him and takes off with Richo running up and down on the spot in "not so hot" persuit.

Then Leppa spots a team-mate about 12 metres away, lines him up and carefully arrows his foot-pass...........straight to a Richmond player:eek:

Anyway, where we were sitting, everyone reckoned Leppa had a good excuse, because it's hard to aim a pass with tears of laughter obscuring your vision, streaming down your face and dripping on to your kicking boot.

Evidently, Frawley didn't think poor old Richo had ANY excuse because he got dragged instantaneously.:p

Funny stuff.

Oh gawd Carter you missed PLENTY last light. Give a **** that the lions hadn't scored a goal yet............the 'If Richo's over-rated clap you hands' chant started rather early. By the time the vague appearances he made in front of the goals at the western end in the 2nd half actually came about, he was on the receiving end of something along the lines of 'if richo is a big girl clap your hands [clap clap]' that was resonating between 2 or 3 bays behind the goals. It was almost side splitting stuff along with the 4th qtr 'can you hear richmond sing? can you hear richmond sing? can you hear richmond sing? we can't hear a BLOODY THING!'

Huge kudos to the bald trainer/water-boy/man for the Tigers too. He copped it all night, and then when it stopped in the last qtr he looked dejected. So another BIG round of 'OI The trainer has no hair' song, got him fired up and a wave to the crowd as well!

Damn I feel homesick now. With all of their tradition, all Adelaide crowds can come up with is "ball" and "White Maggot".
