Metallica to tour Australia

Metallica have announced the dates for their Australian tour.

The band will tour in January with shows outside the Big Day Out in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Dates are:
Brisbane Monday January 19 Entertainment Centre
Sydney Wednesday January 21 Entertainment Centre
Melbourne Wednesday January 28 Myer Music Bowl.

The dates run around Big Day Out dates and will be officially announced next week. Tickets are expected to go on sale July 14.

Meantime Big Day Out dates are:
Fri Jan 16th - Auckland
Sun Jan 18th - Gold Coast
Fri Jan 23th - Sydney
Mon Jan 26th - Melbourne
Fri Jan 30th - Adelaide
Sun Feb 1st - Perth

damn, i hate the Myer Music Bowl, can't they play it in the tennis centre or telstra dome. Listening to a live band in an outdoor venue is ****house, too much echo.
