View Full Version : Next Friday
Really hoping that the media don't give the Blues too much stick this week and fire them up for our game! Hopefully they will sink a bit lower Friday night!
**** the media. We beat Carlton, not the journos.

If we can play like last Friday night, there's no holding us back. I hope Jobe's calf frees up, and the boys run like they did against the Saints. Let's take it one week at a time.

This is probably our main concern going into the game.
Should be fun to see Hille and Ryder go nuts.
Geez what a difference a fortnight can make to one's confidence with all things footy.
Knights Vs Ratten > Sheedy Vs Parkin :D

Its a concern but the Saints midfield is much tougher than Carltons and we handled them OK, I know they were far from their best but still.
Juddy and Armfield in doubt as well... unfortunate for Welsh and Riemers!
Really disappointed that Gumby cant play them again.. :(
Looking forward to it! Hope the blues still feel a bit flat tho, wouldnt mind us giving them another massive spanking..
The media bagged the utter crap out of us after the Adelaide & Melbourne games and that sure didn't inspire us to great things on the field...
I think it can all be a bit of a myth at times to be honest.
Carlton won't play as badly as they did against Collingwood, that's for sure, but they are still certainly beatable.

gee i hope not, its been so l;ong since they beat us i think we can do it again, i must say our side is looking really good atm close to our best 22 and the future looks great, still with a few names out though no need for big changes
Am feeling reasonably confident, just hope they are not shamed into a great performance!

You'd still beat WC
I know same, after a good win from us and a poor on from them i can just see it happening that we will be beaten pretty confrotably, and i actually prefer if judd plays i think its better if he plays injured then doesnt play at all, just my opinion. Hope Gus plays another good game, wasgood last year agianst blues..... oh and thats year aginst carlton on friday night we smashed them by 10 goals lets hope its deja vu!

Both teams have been up and down all year (We have both flogged St Kilda and lost to less than average sides)
It will all depend on who is "up" on the night. But I will be tipping the Dons.

They're a mess and I'll be giving it to every Blues supporter I know this week leading into Friday.
Mouthful of peanuts and will bring out my Sticks impersonation.

Great time to play Carlton again. I'll love us to extend the winning streak.
