This is direct from today's Herald Sun-certainly brought a smile to my face.
"Good news at Carlton with Anthony Koutoufides training strongly, raising hopes he will play some part in the Blues' Ansett Cup campaign.
Koutoufides has been struck down with complications with his injured knee but yesterday moved freely, joining his teammates in several running drills.
The Blues star, who suffered a slight tear to his posterior cruciate ligament in Round 20 against Essendon, has been hampered by swelling in the knee since the operation."
All I can say is: WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!

Please let it be so. Kouta can make the difference between an average season and a great one if for no other reason than the fact that he frees up the game for his teammates. Even if he is targeted and nullified somewhat (who is capable of doing that) he demands opposition from the best of opposition players, therefore allowing more freedom for the others.

ODN,
It's good to see some serious talk on this site, not just arguments and pitiful comments and jibes. Lets keep it up. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyone who witnessed Kouta's demolition of Carey at PP last season will be ecstatic. He is the guy you CANNOT match up and therefore must free others as their opponents have to help out.

All I can say is - roll on 2001!
Carlton have to be cautious with what they say about Kouta - for all we know he may be coming on quite well but they don't want to over excite the fans!
