Hey guv's!
Can someone do me a re-cap of last nights episode? I was out at a restaurant and totally missed what happened to Cass Rickman (although I know that she is probably the next victim of the Sun Hill serial killer).
I tuned in at 2pm on the ABC thinking it was going to be a repeat of last nights episode but it was one about a Race Crime, with Smithy (!) and Jim Carver when he was back in uniform.
Nick Klien found Cass's body washed up on the riverbank.Simon Kittson has been arrested for the murder.His sister gave him and alibi,but then recanted it at the end of the episode.

2PM are always old episodes.
Cass was lying face down on some bridge thing- near the riverbank, Nick found her.
Lots of tears all around, accept Phil Hunter who was wandering around talking to Nick Klein with a smug look on his face- all day- while Cass was still missing.
Kitson has been arrested- he was being interviewed when hte news came in that Cass had been found- as soon as he found out he started crying.
When being briefed after the news came in- Adam OKaro said they all had to go out and keep fightin the crimes and show sunhill that they won't give in- and if they ever doubted a reason why, they should just- and he stuck up a picture of Cass next to the pictures of the other serial killer victims.

Show used to be a "can't miss" for me, but it's just got way too soapy and unbelievable. Still watch it regularly though, but miss teh Burnside, Ted Roach, Tosh Lyons, Mike Dashwood days.

Don't we all.
Would love them all to come back (obviously Tosh can't), but given the way their characters were written out (Roach, in particular), it's not likely to happen.

Cass, annoying as dog ****. Interesting how the script writers made her a touch more " loveable " in her final days. I for one will not miss this annoying hag.
