The Ultimate Re-Draft

Please understand this is just for kicks. I know there are many factors influencing who we draft and why but I just thought it would be interesting to look at what our team could have looked like today.

I only started from the 98' Draft (With Fletcher as the exception) and only chose players that were drafted lower than the ones in brackets. I also didn't consider rookies.

I'm thinking our backline might be a bit tall but that's okay as this is make believe :D

Anyone who says Gilbert is an upgrade on Dempsey should just about be banned as a troll, let alone trash like Fevola over a premiership star and a genuine hero like Rama.

You could do this super team with every teams drafts. Hindsight is wonderful with AFL drafts.

Personally, I would have preferred we took Shane Tuck over Jordan Bannister at pick 69 in 2003, if only to piss off Hawks supporters by having the son of their club legend running around in red & black.

Also a bit of a joke to suggest we would have taken Sam Fisher with a first round pick when he went at pick 55.
