Best Win - St Kilda Round 18 - out of the blue and showed we can smash a top 4 team.

Worse Loss - Melbourne Round 15 - disgusting display by a team who that night were going to be mixing with and celebrating the 2000 Premiership. We looked light years away from that team (didn't last the full match either not embarrassed to say).

Strange that there are only 2 rounds in between my best and worse for the year. There's inconsistency for you!

Best Win: Game against Bulldogs in Round 9. Our season was still well and truly alive. We were scintillating that night.

Worst Loss: Take your pick of many. Anzac Day was a low point. The Port and Sydney Losses were gutting too.

Best Win: Dogs, Dawks, both Saints games and all the rest.

Worst Losses: All of them.

True Ben. Doggies was the most satisfying for mine. I think vs. Adelaide/Collingwood were some of the worst performances I've ever seen.

Best: Dogs that one came out of nowhere I thought we had 0 chance to actually win the game.

Worst: WEagles. When my highlight of an Essendon game is some Mark LeCras goals then something is very wrong.

Best win: St.Kilda last week. The Bulldogs game was good but the last quarter was dissapointing where as last week we didn't let them come back.

Worst loss: West Coast, round 16. With everything to prove, against the worst team in the competition we were absolutely hopeless. No passion, no effort, no idea what we were doing. West Coast weren't even playing well that game but we managed to make them look like superstars.
ANZAC day was also embaressing but just misses out as Collingwood actually played well. Still, it was a pathetic display.

Best: Domination of the Saints last week after getting a flogging from the media. Our kids are shit, yea right!!

Worst: Adelaide - sick of sitting through my one live match for the year to only see us get flogged. Anzac farce and WCE a very close 2nd.

Best: Both St.Kilda wins. Simply outplayed and outsmarted them both times.

Worst: Hard to split between Collingwood, Adelaide, Melbourne and the Eagles, but for me the Hawthorn loss in round 13. By far not our worse loss for the year, but at the stage of the season, the closeness and beaten by a freak game by Buddy, that's the hardest loss. We lost the plot for a month after that loss.

While it was extremely frustrating, surely watching the team barely trying is harder. 2 hours of the Adelaide/Melbourne/West Coast was just excruciating.

As I said it was the hardest loss, not the worse. The other few losses were dreadful. I thought i'd throw in my opinion of the hardest loss into the mix as well.

Fair enough, I just found it interesting.

for me, the worst loss was Port @ home. Chad ****ing Cornes having his last moment of glory ever kicking the second last goal & doing that stupid ****ing goose-step.

That's the angriest I've been after a loss in years, srsly. A bit unfortunate, since the footy loving in-laws were over from Adelaide & I'd forked out $50 a ticket each.

I was so angry after that match I couldn't even enjoy the $500 french meal the old man shouted us afterwards. I just had my cack face on all night. I srsly haven't been that angry in years after the footy. I wanted to punch strangers.

Best match for me probably the Aint's last week, although I ****ing love beating Carlton whereever, whenever

ANZAC day. Did not show up at all all day.

Melbourne one hurt and we were ordinary, but we were seriously stitched up by umps that day, otherwise it could have been a decent contest. Like you Lance against Port have never been so angry after a match in a long time, that compounded with living in ACT listening to channel 7's ****ing shit Essendon-hating commentary made for a very bad day.

Worst Loss: Anzac Day - I was just surfing facebook and my phone for the whole second half. Worst game I've ever been to. Some part of me actually enjoyed the Eagles game because a forward was kicking a massive bag.

Actual honest answers.

Can't split the Saints wins or the Bulldogs, but if I have to the first saints win. The Sunday mid May game is always my birthday game and it's fantastic to celebrate it with a win over the team the whole family goes for.

Worst loss was the Sydney game. I made the trip up there, wasn't under cover and it rained all day. We lost Hille and Gus, we were slaughtered by the umpires all day and stumbled over the line in second place. This loss was the start of our decline and the damage done is what finished our season.

I really gotta stop going to interstate games. :(

Best: North. Finally got a win, and on my birthday. Which I went to with my GF for her first AFL match live. I came down from Sydney, it was a thriller and we won and she enjoyed it.

Worst: Port. Hated Knights for a week for throwing that game away by not putting Ryder in the ruck in the last. Still do.

Same, Same. I'm ashamed to say it but it was the first and only time I've left a Dons game before it finished. Left after 1st quarter after traveling two and half hours to get there. Just shattered.
