3AW mentioned Fletcher could be out for the year with a hamstring ..... or could it be and I would like someone to confirm or know of an after match dust up with the coach over his performance with Mitch Robinson - a heated confrontation was heard to be taken place...and the hamstring is bs unless he did it at training this week

He was testing out his Hamstring at 3/4 time, IIRC.

Fletch did his hammy on Friday night. I think in the third quarter. Played out the game but was very ginger.

Why would Knights and Fletcher have a bust up ?

Thought that fletcher beat Robinson on the night, although he didn't have his normal influence.

Yes, Fletcher hates Knights. So he did his hamstring out of spite.

My god some of the shit that gets posted here.

Um, what?

robinson kicked 2 goals - one was from the ridiculous report of Hille.

robinsons defensive job isnt even close to Monfries performance on Fisher the previous week.

Muston performed better on fletcher.

Fletcher wasn't able to go third man up at all. Robinson continually dragged him up the opposite win - huge win to Robinson.

Disagree.

Fletcher's no1 role is to defeat his opponent.
No 2 role is to help his other defenders in the air.
No 3 role is to distribute the ball from defence.

Fletcher being dragged up the ground is a coaching error.

You never see Lake leave the defensive 50.

Fletcher's injury has not been confirmed on the essendon website but it is listed on injuryupdate (http://www.injuryupdate.com.au/afl.php).

I think Robinson beat Fletch to an extent. In the same way Muston did earlier this year (IIRC).

You never see Lake leave the defensive 50.

Lake has played forward this year.

You're a joke if you think Fletch won the battle.

Honestly, your posts get worse and full of more shit every day.

Because... Dawes is going to kick the winning score?

Seriously, who cares. Take your 4 points, wash your car and be good to your mother.

Watch the game of football some time Yaco. They put a forward tag on Fletch. It worked. Fletchers number 1 job these days isn't to beat his direct opponent, it's to be the loose man.

I hope not.

Put him on ice.

If he rocks up the day before round 1 next year he'll be right to go.

He's already going to miss the Collingwood and Brisbane matches. Seems pointless to bring him for our dead rubber against the Bulldogs. Save him for next year!

The headlines that scroll across the bottom of the screen during Seven News just read "Essendon's Justin Fletcher unlikely to play again".

Firstly, how dare they disrespect the great man by calling him Justin. Secondly, God I hope this isn't true.

Fletcher still needs to be accountable for his player.

Do you want six Dempsey's running in the back half.

Watch when lake played on Franklin.

Lake sagged back once Franklin went into the midfield.

Fletcher played too much up the field last week - he doesnt have to follow an ordinary player into the midfield.
