Mensch,J Mooney,C Mooney,Bizzell,Kingsley or Graham.
I'd like to see Kingsley get first go.

Well I know I am not a Geelong supporter but I like them alot and have been to stacks of games with my sister to watch them play. And I think that Clint should be the FF next year, and I also want to see some of those great marks he takes again.

Bizells an interesting one I reckon..... where is his spot? Leads strong and hard, good pair of hands and a (usually) terrific kick, possibly hasn't got the size and strength required to hold down FF. Where to play him though? I know basically bugerall about Kingsley, Mensch works hard but gets lead to the ball to often, White could be the best recruit from another club we've had since Barnes, Graham needed too much down back, J Mooney I'm a huge wrap for, works hard off the ball but again too slow which only leaves C Mooney, who in the limited viewings I've seen of him has impressed me with his size, willingness to have a dip, kicks like a mule and is young enough to grow into the role....... in short, buggered if I know!

Kingsley didn't get much of a go at North, he is a bit slow but you never know, all the so called duds North have given to Geelong over the years have turned out to be pretty handy players. I hope for you Cat fans, Kent Kingsley is no exception.
cheers

What about Ling? Saw some of your reserve games and he looked very competent there. Dont know if he is ready for it yet, but long term he looks quitee promising, good lead, lovely kick and decent size about him. The rest are aside from Bizzell not full forwards.

Ling and Bizzell are a bit small to play full forward.
I'd like to see Marcus Baldwin play full forward [if we can find out if he's still on the senior list].

Jub you probably have seen enough of Baldy by now to realise that he might be a thumping kick and a pretty good mark. But does he still fall over like dominoes whenever he cant mark it? Plus the facts his ground skills are non existent well, i liked Marcus when he was with us, but i never really thought he was going to make a league player.
Still ive been wrong before!
ps how talls Ling? I thought he was at least 188cm thats big enough for a FForward.
Cheers.

Just a slight conundrum isn't it.
Lets see who we've got to choose from.....
Mensch - more of a floating forward, can't consistently hold marks.
J.Mooney - Injury prone, can hold a mark though and a thumping left foot kick, probably another half forward floater
C.Mooney - bulit like a tank, can hold a mark but needs to learn how to kick, probably the best long term option
Ling - Should develop along the same lines as Barry Stoneham, top mark, could become a centre half forward, surprisingly big.
Kinglsey - an unknown quantity, Former North players usually turn out alright though, however, remember our last full forward from another club, Brett Spinks? give him 12 months to settle.
Baldwin - A Ten minute wonder last year, needs to bulk up more, but can kick, just another possibility.
Bizzell - Is he the next Gazza? Gazza played his first ten years on the half forward flank/wing probably Biz's best spot, too small for a key forward at the moment, give him 5 or 6 years to bulk up and he could become the next Gazza
White - Is he a bit old to hold down centre half forward? doesn't have a huge frame, full forward may be his go.
Graham - Personally I think he is better used a full back/centre half back. He sets more up from there than he would kick.
And a couple from left field.....
Woolnough - he clearly will have built up his frame, If his knee holds up maybe a surprise packet
Street - A resting ruckman who could relieve King during matches
And one from WAY WAY leftfield
McGrath - Too old to hold down Centre Half Back, stick him in the forward line and let him grab marks as they come to him - Needs to learn to kick though, probably a bit late in his career to learn.
Personally I'd give White a go, with Junior Mooney at Centre Half forward, with J.Mooney, Bizzell, Snell and Houlihan the other forwards.

I hope your not suggesting Ling will be useless in his last season. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

JUBJUB, he is on the rookie list, in the same position he was at the start of last season. i can't see him moving onto the list through form due to the current list, but if we have a plague of injuries well who knows?

Don't really care much about Geelong or who plays where for them, but as an eagles supporter I can give you a little bit of a profile of White.
He might not be as big as Carey but is definately one of the most skilled players in the league. He had a quiet 2000 season but was on fire in 1999 when he delivered the ball to most of cummings' 95 goals. He is fast, agile and a smart player and there are few defenders who can play on him effectively. He can also play in a number of positions, pretty much in any position including the midfield if required.
Geelong got the bargain of the year, but who cares, eagles beat them in two Grand Finals.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Hey West Coast, how are about we trade all our draft picks for your number 3 pick later this year.
Spoke to a scout from Hawthorn who saw this kid called Judd play for the dragons. Reakons his no good. 2 bunged shoulders.
