I like Geelong. The players are good, the supporters are good, the home ground is good. I like the jumper, the colours and the name. I like the way that the club operates (in terms of its public profile). You're a good team to watch - and have been since '89 (I started watching football in '86).
I don't know. Geelong seems to have a mysterious attraction all of its own. The perception of Geelong FC being a club which is community based, with an actual soul rather than a corporate identity is something that I find appealing.
Perhaps the fact that you've been the most successful unsuccessful team in recent times is also something that I can connect to (bearing in mind that I'm a Roys supporter - I know what disappointment is).
Geelong never did anything bad to the Roys. In fact, in one part of Dyson Hore-Lacy's book, it is even mentioned that Geelong stood up for Fitzroy on a couple of occasions.
I don't want to see Geelong go under. They're a good club, with a good lot of people. If I ever happen to be living down Geelong way, I'd seriously consider purchasing a membership and seeing a few more Cats games down at Kardinia. I like that ground. Who knows, I might even do it anyway - if I weren't so busy.
I've warned you about those pies though.

JUBJUB, the board I was referring to was the BigFooty one. I wasn't "having a go", essentially, but rather alerting other football fans to the nonsense that you cats people go on with in here.
Popcorn masterminds?!?!?! What are you on about?!

Olmy, we all know what you're really infatuated with is the cat. This is proven by your eagerness to talk about him ad nauseam.
You need to let him go and think about other things. Frankly I find your recent hallucinations quite disturbing. (Re: Topic "That Cat...")
Can I recommend the Carlton board? Their mascot may tickle your fancy.

Just because you've had a tickling episode with "Monty the Blue Boy" (aka "Captain Condom" - the guy in that blue inflatable rubber suit at Optus Oval), doesn't mean that I am interested in the slightest, Red Rover.

Then what will it take for you to get over the cat? I'm trying to help you here.

Look, just stop him from coming round to my house all the time. I'm bloody sick of him coughing up crap all over my carpet. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/mad.gif
