View Full Version : 2010 ODI/Test Jerseys
It seems that due to the hatred of the ugly, disgraceful green jersey, CA have decided to keep the jersey, it hasn't been released yet, but thanks to thee lovely guys at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre (http://www.cricketcentre.com.au/product_list/pages/product_list.php?Operation=SetSessionVariable&Variable[cat1]=Merchandise+CA+%26+ICC&Variable[cat2]=AUSTRALIAN+REPLICA&Variable[cat3]=-1&pager=1&startpage=1) they have given it away, displaying the new caps, which show the main colour, the home seems to be very dark green, while the away goes back to that yellow that Australia used as their home during the early 2000's.
All the media/training merchandise is terrible also, they have gone with a blue/orange style for some reason, which also looks ugly, found on the site.

You just can't have a Comm Bank logo on a gold coloured shirt:rolleyes:
The entire Australian cricketing community is holding its breath for the grand unveiling of the ONI home and away tops for 2010/2011 :rolleyes:.
Tops have been crap since about 2005 ish. Mid to late 90's was the best. The top with the lightning was the best tops we have ever worn imo.

The FILA one worn in 2003-2004 seems to be the one that most people wear I reckon. Probably because it's got VB on it. Also has southern cross, is mainly yellow and has green shoulders. Looks good

The yellow one looks alright - I can't stand the dark green (basically black) one. I am not holding my breath for an improvment - they have been going downhill each year for a while.
I mean, their training gear last year was aqua blue - every other team actually trains in the same colours they play in.

The one from 01/02 - the ODI series vs Bangladesh in 03 is the best. Followed by the 00/01 one vs WI/Zimbabwe.

I'm probably in the minority but I love the dark green that Aus wears.

All pretty ordinary, not a fan of the yellow on the test shirt.
Not bad, not sure I like the yellow One Day shirt though.

I think they look good.
Agree with alfy that the yellow is a little off for some reason.
Don't love the home jersey but it's alot better than what it was last year, I like the away yellow, alot like the colour they used in the early 2000's. Don't mind the yellow on the test shirt.

That one still fits me now thankfully. Love that top. Will be dissapointed when I outgrow it though. Hopefully there's a place where you can buy old shirts. I know you can get the 80s ones but if I could get the 03/04 one again, I would.
And wtf, since when have we been sponsored by Vodafone? Did we cancel our 3 sponsorship or something?

I'v got that shirt in a size Large with the CA logo fully embroided on and the travelex logo laminated/pressed on as well. looks awesome. got it straight from FILA cos I couldn't buy it in stores. :thumbsu:

There's a lot of Gold Comm Bank posters with the logo on it. Just need to put added emphasis on the outline.
