Poor Bendigo.

Houli still unavailable?

I reckon the Ins are better than the outs, though Watson is massive loss.

Wouldn't be suprised at all to see Hille spend a lot of time at FF to stretch them.

Great for Neagle's confidence to drop him for the last game well done on a great selection yet again .....if an extra game was going to make any difference...

Dropping Neagle might be the kick in the arse that he needs.

He's been given all the opportunities to be a regular member of the 22, and he's failed to grab his chance.

Whoever the coach is next year needs to do whatever it takes to get through to him. If not, then we will cut our losses at seasons end.

Neagle has to be in big trouble when our only key forward remaining in the side is an 18-year-old. I can't blame Knights for dumping him, although for structure perhaps he should have stayed in. Neagle has been hopeless the last couple of weeks and is not offering anything to the side. We have a forward line of midgets.

I get the idea of dropping Neagle, I don't get the idea of dropping him now though. Unless they think he's needed more for Bendigo's finals campaign.

Oh well, I can't say there's anything riding on this result anyway.

If he was played he'd go into the preseason thinking he can just fart around playing crap and still be selected. I like him going in knowing he has a lot to do just to get his spot back, even without Gumby in the team. Some of this junk people say about players confidence being destroyed when they get dropped is bs, if he can't handle the fact that he's not good enough atm he needs to grow a set and harden up or gtfo.

I don't see why Reimers is still in the team while we can give some experience to T.Slatt.

Neagle was absolutely deplorable last week. That missed mark alone makes him deserved of being dropped. He is just as embarassing as Quinn.

Myers in the backline FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU.. only real complaint.

I would have Neagle in over Crameri.

I would have Neagle in over Crameri.

The difference being that Neagle has had 4 or 5 games to show something, way more than the likes of Myers, Houli, Atkinson etc. Crameri deserves more than 1.

I was basing it on who was more likely to be around next year. I'm not sure Crameri will make it. I can see where you're coming from though, we should give the young guys a go and see what they've got.

Glad to see Neagle omitted, useless footballer.

However, wonder if they suspect anything regarding Lake possibly being rested at the last minute. Dogs have nothing to play for except form.

They can't climb or fall from their position.

The Dogs badly need a confidence-building win so I can't see them resting too many. It's very interesting they are leaving Higgins as an emergency. I think we could have a chance with close to a full-strength side but with a lack of talls up forward we'll struggle.

Wouldn't surprise me to see one or two late changes from the Doggies.

No real surprises in the team.

Would have liked to see T.Slattery in - This would have released Hooker or Hurley to play forward.

Not sure where the goals will come from.

Looks like Knights wants to have a real crack at saving his job. Good luck to him but for the sake of Essendons future I hope we get smashed.

Starting to worry for Tyson, will he get a new deal?

LeeARM
27 Aug 2010, 18:47
I'm worried for him next year. It'll be his third year and if Hurley, Pears, Hooker and Fletcher are fit he'll really struggle to fit into the backline.

He's not a KPD, why do people pigeon hole him like that?

I don't really see him as one but our backline will already be tall. Putting him in there would be one step too far.

As for this week he's a bit unlucky but I wouldn't read into it. Knights has been playing unbalanced lineups all year.

Wouldn't surprise me to see one or two late changes from the Doggies.

Apparently Lake has conjunctivitis, and im not sure how his hip is going either. So you might be right in saying that. Im gonna be worried if he goes out, when Hille and Ryder go forward we are gonna have to play Hargrave or someone on them :(

Just to clear up the Reimers being named for bendigo discussion.

He was dropped with Neagle and Quinn.

McVeigh rang the club on Thursday arvo and said he is too sore to play... then Reimers got put back in the side.
