First time I watched it this year last night.
It was their 200th show. One would think this would be a big occasion.
The only thing it did for me was convince me that this thing should be retired, and sooner rather than later.
Kate Langbroke and Jo Stanley just suck outright. Not funny, not witty, and the dumb question/statement act wore thin in about show 2.
Is there a Logies catergory for "Person you would like to beat the living crap out of", if so, Rob Sitch would win, that guy is just something else. Sits so far back in his seat he must be about to fall backwards of it, makes stupid remarks, and laughs at nothing.
Santo relies on bizzare television or media events for his comedy contribution, or comments on stereotypical wog life, all of which we heard 10 years ago. Not funny.
Tommy G and Glenn Robins give the show some credability at least.
Being generous, the guests last night were B grade. Tony Martin may as well just be a guest panellist. The FBI guy hardly said a word over everyone else trying to be funny. Quarters was his usual self, and, to top it all off, they had the SMS king of the world, where the attention was on Jo Stanley instead.
No musical act??
What does everyone else think about the show? I say give it the arse, and bring back the "Late Show" instead.
