A huge gamble dropping Alessio against possibly the best ruck combination in the comp.

I can't understand this......he goes in with one ruckman against the stronger rucking sides, but goes in against St Kilda with two?

Also, I thought Jobe injured his groin? Do we expect another late change? On a positive note, good to see Cory get a go.

Well, sheeds has done it again. I am all for giving the youngsters a crack at it, and at times thought Sheedy should have played them more than he has been. But now the season is on the line, if we win this one we are a show... if we don't we would have to be very lucky to get a look in.

So when I picked my Bombers side for round 15 I brought in Barnard for his experience and strength and kept Alessio to give Hille a rest in the ruck against what I think is a pretty good ruck combination at the crows.

But not Sheeds. Instead he kicks out SES because he hasn't been earning his senior spot. Brings in Cory McGrath who the rest of us thought he had this pet hate against. Didn't just bring him in mind you but has sat him in the pocket under Matty Lloyd. Good luck Cory.

And to replace Misiti he brings back Watson who managed a couple of magnificent tackles and 2 reasonable handballs a couple of weeks ago. Now although I want Jobe to succeed, I wouldn't have had the balls to recall him this week.

Good luck Sheeds. All credit to your courage.

I wonder if he realises that he is going to have to give at least some of the young players more than 10 minutes of ground time... I guess he does... that is why he is the master coach and I am stuck commenting to my computer screen.;)

Well, get ready for Sydney all over again. Players try their guts out, but the coaching staff porks em up the ass

Ces was only dropped I feel due to an awful weather forecast for the match tomorrow night.

Am expecting a late change.

Out: Watson (still worries over his groin)
In: Barnard/Forster-Knight

Glad Cory has been given his chance.

Imagine pulling a win off this week....

Next weeks Bendigo side will have to consist of Mercuri and Rioli.

Surely they couldn't drop any of the kids if they got up this week.

hille/bolton managed okay v the catters...
an extra small man for the wet weather? more pace around the grounds? who knows why sheedy does what he does,

As always, if it works, the fans, media and commentators will label him the master coach, stroke of brilliance, and all that. If it doesn't, he'll get bullets flying at his head.

Part and parcel of being an AFL coach.

changes obviously reflect the talk all week of a wet game.

however weather.com lists only a 20% chance of precipitation. Having said that they are expecting a badly needed dump of snow on the weekend, so the front should go thru adelaide first. I dunno what the story is.

I think Sheeds has the right idea, if we can get all the kids to back themselves against the crow eaters we will win because the enthusiasm of youth will mean that there is plenty of running in the team. It is a big risk but if the kids have been performing you can't not play them.

Although if it doesnt work out I think Sheeds has something up his sleeve that will work wonders.

With Bassett or Smart likely to get Lloyd, Stinger v Hird, Shirley v JJ, what wil your matchups be against Macca, Roo, Birdman & Carey (assuming he plays @ CHF)?

McLeod is probably going to get either Rama, Bullen or Peverill
Ricciuto will have a direct opponent in Mark Johnson (bit of a marquee match-up)
Bolton or Lucas could line-up on Burton
Fletcher, Wellman or Jacobs on Carey

I wouldn't want to get crunched in between Roo & MJ! Fletcher is probably the best matchup for Carey, but would Sheeds want him playing at CHB? Can't see Lucas going with the Birdman, but either Bolton or Wellman would be well suited IMO. Is Jacobs over the injury he has been carrying?

I think Soloman may get Burton - especially if he plays on the wing like he did last week (am I right that he did play there??).

Interesting to see how Lloyd plays as Footy park isn;t his favourite hunting ground.

Expect Fletcher to play FB and Wellman/Jacobs CHB so depending on plays where will dtermine match ups in the backline.
