ok well sorry for intruding, but i just wanna wish u guys all the best for the game on monday, cos it is going to be an absolute ripsnorter. I think one of your supporters mentioned it on our board (sorry whoever i forgot your name) that with farmer and Burns kisking goals, its going to be a fantastic game of skill and class. I actually think you guys will do alright this year despite what the crackpot elliot said last night on the footy show.

That was me, DeesGirl, hopeing for a Farmer/ Burns shootout. I'm going Monday and I cant wait! Hope the crowd gets over 50,000. My Neace and Nepthew are coming (the first time they will ever go to the footy) and I hope its exciting for them too. It will be! And yes - Good lick DeesGirl - the two oldest and best clubs in the world will fight out a cracker. Best of luck to both teams!

well it was a great game. nice and close. ahhhh to close at some stages. bad luck guys.
Saw the Schnell (sp?) inury http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/eek.gif that was shocking. do any of u guys know how bad it is? Dipper said it was a clear break. poor guy. he was going ok aswell. Hey does Scarlett always play so close to his player? I dont like anyone playing touchy feelys with any of my boys. it just isnt right. LOL im joking he did a good job.
Anyway well done on a good performance, and sorry to ruin your day.

Yes it was a good game. Nice and free flowing and of a good standard for a change. I think the Cats will go OK this year. Certainly finals material.

well in today's AGE there was an article written by Rohan Connolly end his last sentence was: "if yesterday is anything to go by, the Demons and the Cats are the real deal."

We were sitting behind the punt road goals and saw the agony that snelly was going through when he stood up. How professional did that stretcher buggy look, hey?
Get well soon, Snelly. To those Dees supporters in this thread, he just broke his ankle. He went to freemasons hospital straight from the G and it was put back in place. There is a chance he could return late in the season, definately after 12 weeks. Poor Snelly (and to think, he was a mad dees supporter as a kid!)
