View Full Version : Movie Piranha 3d. Oh my god!
You have all seriously GOT to see this movie.
It is so bad, so terribly terribly bad, that I loved every minute of it. I thought Snakes on a Plane was the best "bad" movie I have seen, but this is about 1000 times better (or worse, depending on your point of view)
It's 90 minutes of blood, death, tits, nudity, and utter carnage.
We're talking about things like a chick parachuting in the water topless, and the piranha eating her legs and when the parachute lifts off there is just her torso. And a Piranha eating a guys penis and burping. There is so much blood in this movie, it makes every war movie ever made look tame. I can't believe they got away with an MA15. Probably because the censors were too busy laughing.
I can't put into how words how brilliantly bad this is. It's almost a masterpiece of sick depravity that you cannot hate.
See it. Appreciate the naked underwater ballet between the two chicks. And the gold appearnace of Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown) as a mad scientist.
And of course the apperance of Richard Dreyfuss playing a character who "appears" to be Matt Hooper himself, as the choice of music he was listening to would imply.
This is brilliantly bad. You have to see it, just to appreciate what they have pulled off here.

anyway yeah you pretty much summed it up.. its so horrific that its awesome

Ok, let me go over a few in no particular order.
* in the midst of the piranha attack on the "spring break" teens (conveniently while a wet t-shirt contest is underway), some big heavy wire cable comes loose and slices through a chick. Her top comes off, exposing her boobs, then her torso completely falls off. The wire cable split her in two.
* a piranha eats inisde a swimmer and then the piranha itself comes out the swimmers mouth. It ate up her insides all the way through until it found her mouth.
* someone getting decapitated by an out-of-control speedboat.
* a guy who is a pornographer getting his legs and penis destroyed, leaving only his upper torso. Then his body is thrown back in the water and fed back to the piranhas by the main character to create a diversion, so that all the piranhas would be in one spot feeding on the carcass
* some chick in a doughnut shaped floatie (with her ass in the hole, obviously) just relaxing, minding her business. The piranhas come up under the floatie and attack her ass.
That's 5... but there's a lot more.

Remember watching Piranha as a teen at the drive-in, was pretty funny.

This movie is full of lulz. People getting killed left, right and centre. If your hoping for something at least resembling a story, this ain't it.

The part where the girls hair was tangled in the boats propeller and half her face get's ripped off when the guy starts it would have to be up there.

Brilliant movie. Saw it twice in the opening week LULZ.
Elizabeth Shue is still a goddess.
And of course the apperance of Richard Dreyfuss playing a character who "appears" to be Matt Hooper himself, as the choice of music he was listening to would imply.
Someone told me that the beer he's drinking is also the beer they drink in Jaws.
Apparently James Cameron and Joe Dante were supposed to have cameos playing lifeguards but Cameron was busy promoting Avatar and couldn't get around to it. Fingers crossed they'll make an appearance in the Piranha sequel. Massive sign of respect from those guys.

She has been ever since I first saw her in the first Karate Kid movie.
Richard Dreyfuss was the police chief of Amity Island in JAWS and the beer can he was drinking in P3D was labelled "Amity Beer".
