Anyone think Mark Taylor got an easy time in his 334asterisked in perhaps two ways, v Pakistan in 98?
that track was an absolute road,
i think i would have got a heap on it and i really can't do much with a bat other than a block or two
besides: wasn't it Salim Malik who stopped the last ball of Day 2 thus not allowing Taylor to pass Bradman's score?

It was Ijaz Ahmed, who Taylor said had 'fielded like a drunk all day.'
Ijaz.
Close.
I knew it was someone who was considered "useless" in the field most of the time.

Ahktar was playing and Slater and Taylor both said it was some of the quickest bowling they've face.
I remember Mark Taylor getting an inside edge onto one from Shoaib when he was on about 5, from memory it missed the stumps by about an inch and went for four. It could have ended oh so quickly for Taylor that day.

Are you trying to infer that Pakistan match fixed or paid off the stumps? Big accusations.
