Is anyone else a 'little' excited about next season. The thought of a new coach who might inspire the players to consistently show the form we saw glimpses of this season is a little exciting! I really don't think we will make another mistake and will find someone who can 'inspire' the players is definitely on the cards! Thoughts?

I get excited every year only for us to be shit. I used to pity supporters that followed clubs like Richmond but now we are the same. I think we all thought we would be down for a couple of years at most and then back up again because we had always been so successful. I'm expecting to be let down again next year.
Yep, I'm excited. Its like going trout fishing, the best part of the trip is the banter on the way up to the mountains. Then you get there and realise you cant actually cast...... but I'm ****ing excited anyway.

when we always play pies hawks and blues twice, then most likely another finals team twice, cant see the draw getting easier,
and i always get excited for the start of a season,!

No shit, couldn't really get any harder than it did this year considering who we played twice.
Next year we will play Collingwood, Geelong, St kilda, Western Bulldogs & Carlton twice.
We will also most likely travel more.
I wouldn't be getting your hopes up just yet.

I was really excited this year...now I am just tempering my excitement. I am looking forward to the break though- cricket starting soon.
Will be very excited (cannot help it) around the february mark.

**** oath I'm excited for next season, just as I am every year.
But like the OP said getting a new coach and gameplan with it just makes me much more excited. The thought of having a more defensive minded gameplan implemented along with the combination of the natural improvement of all of our young players (Hurley, Pears, Hooker, Gumbleton, Caslile, Melksham, Colyer, Jetta, Myers, our pick 8 this year, etc) makes me feel funny in the pants :D

Should be in melbourne for the beginning of season 2011.
Hope I give the Bombers more luck this year.

Missed the Richmond and Western Bulldogs games in Round 9 and 10, found internet cafe to watch both games in London ;)...and then played sydney, hawthorn, geelong, adelaide, melbourne, first win didn't come until round 17 against North :(

Surely you must have a pretty good idea by now? :confused:
****ing excited for the new season. Favourites to dominate the league ... and win the Champions League. Excellent squad with a new tagger midfield. etc.
Srsly, if you're getting worked up about 2011 before finals have even finished then you're only going to disappoint yourself when next season arrives.
