View Full Version : TV Man V Food
I've been watching a few eps of this (it's on Fox).
initally I thought it was fantastic however you watch enough episodes its pretty much the same and some of the food isn't as hilarious as others.

I think the interesting ones aren't so much when it's the amount of food but how spicey hot it is or like drinking 5 jumbo milkshakes. I've seen all of season one and two and I think he has only chucked once or twice.
Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern is very interesting as well. They have done a crossover episode as well. Zimmern goes out and finds stuff at real food places that most consider gross and eats it. I heard he even tried McDonalds:D

Friend told me about it when I was telling him about Man vs Wild. Didnt think there could be a Man vs something that would come close to Wild but it was really good to start. Watched most episodes but am getting sick of it now.
Does get to be repetitive as you said. I think he's finally starting to get quite fat.
I just skip through to the main challenge now.

Yeah I remember wondering how we could be just as fat as them. Must be because of all their poverty stricken areas.
Really it is an excellent tv show..

I'm not sure if I can be bothered looking it up so can someone tell me if the bloke in the video the OP posted actually eats it all or not?

big fan of the show. you see why Americans are the way they are but it would be quite awesome to have like some of the dishes they serve up on the show in Australia, lots of variety. Up to date with the show in season 3.
Would like to try a lot of those foods, but don't feel like having a heart attack. I think he has a personal trainer and pretty much is vegetarian when he isn't doing the show and the amount he eats before the challenges is all he eats (doesn't finish the meals at the little stop offs at well known places). Not that I'm trying to excuse it whatsoever. Still entertaining to watch most of the time.
