Whenever you're feeling down about our fortunes in season 2010 (and believe me, I have at numerous points in the last couple of months)....
Whenever you're feeling like the way the club handled Knights was one of the worst rookie coaching mistakes in recent AFL history....
Whenever you're feeling like we're the only club that continue to trade away good young talent or picks for washed-up, injured former stars like Williams...
Just think...at least we're not Brisbane.
Seriously, could things get any worse down at that place? I'm not celebrating their misfortune, it just places things for us in perspective a bit. Despite the disappointing second half of the season, I can still see a bright future ahead for this squad, plus some nice pick-ups in the next draft or so. Does anyone have such hope for Brisbane?

We are also not the other 10-12 clubs who are better then us this year.
I get your point and it is a positive- but are we really at the point where the rabble is the positive we look for?

I'm celebrating, f... them, they cheated their way to the 2001 flag. I hope they take out the next 10 wooden spoons
This may be a blessing for them. If they have to get rid of Fev, then it will free up a heap of salery cap room.

The AFL were cheating the competition.
The AFL were cheating the competition.
Very true, but I still hate them. Suffer Brisbane!

I'm certainly not celebrating a weak Brisbane. Like them or not, they are vital to a strong national competition. If Brisbane continue to be cellar dwellers their fickle fans will drop off by the score and weaken AFL in Queensland. The other states are AFL strongholds so they will handle their teams being shit. Queensland won't.

But you are, by creating this thread. Perhaps you're doing it inadvertently but championing the misfortunes of another club to improve the perspective of ours is pathetic. Actually not inadvertently, as you've put this down as a "toast" thread.
I don't doubt they're a club that's going to struggle for a few years but unless they have any relevance to our club then I think its pointless laughing at them.

No it won't. Well, not unless the AFL cheat just to helpthem out of a big hole.

All this thread does is highlight how bad we have become. We aren't as much of a rabble as Brisbane. What a positive! lol
Not one of our finest moments.
