Never seen or heard of this flick until last night.
Guy Pearce, and Adolf "Full Monty" Hitler were in it.
Anyone else seen it? I didn't know it existed, but watched nonetheless after finding out it contained extreme viiolence.
It was bizzare. The flick had some genuine scary patches, and the premise of the plot was ok, but I found the soundtrack was, in parts, laughably sh1t. At some very freaky times, when suspense was increasing, a happy banjo track was blasted on, ruining any form of nail-biteyness, and turning a possibly fantastic scene into a Benny Hill skit.
Wierd.
You disappoint me, you do.
I thought you'd finally seen the light and were commenting on "Ravenous", the Arch Enemy song with the very rootable Angela Gossow on vocals.
Consider that a recommendation, and I couldn't give two sh1ts about your poxarse Guy Pearce film.
I vaguely recall renting it ages ago. Thought it was pretty funny at the time.

hmm... dont think it was a freaky movie at all...
the soundtrack is bizarre, different... and suits the movie..
which is a comical, fun, gross type movie...

For what was a very, very troubled production I think it is a very fine film and the soundtrack (by Damon Albaran & Michael Nyman) is one of the best of the last decade.

Yeah I sort of like the film, particularly the spot when they discover the truth in the cave. That's pretty harrowing ... good feelings of helplessness.

It was.
But when they break out of the cave, the whole atmosphere of the scene is decimated by freaken banjo's. I think that bit just turned me off the flick. A genuinely scary scene, cut to bits by an attempt at humour.
