What a fantastic effort!!! We well deserved that win. We have improved
alot over the summer...our fitness is second to none, our skill level has
improved out of sight as well...plus confidence is sky high, the players
arent afraid to take risks.
I thought we really missed the impact of Monty in the backlines as the
rebounding defender...kingsley didnt do the job well.
I was surprised to see Packo up forward, but looking up some records when i
got home has shown he played there a couple of times with a little success
for Fitzroy. He can kick a goal, and is a strong mark. Stevens and Dew
hopefully played there worst games for the year tonight...they just couldnt
get into the game at all.
Flashs goal!!!! How good was that...75-80m torp!! And CCC's goal in teh
last!!! Wanganeen played well up forward.
Ackland...didnt get a lot of game time, and looked a bit lost, but it was
his first game!
Harwood plaed another good game, Cornes did alright, and Primus....he could
well be the best captain in the league! So inspirational.....especially
when he lead for the ball o ut of the backlines...a big risk, he controlled
the ball and played it 100m down field, chasing after it all teh
way....great effort.
Lets now all barrack for brisbane tomorrow, as from my knowledge, Brisbane
will have to pay $250,000 for the Shield match to me moved next weekend if
they win, so it will be played here!!!
GO THE POWER!!

Wow you guys were so good. I'm just running down to the TAB to back you....you're gonna win the Grand Final in September for sure. No other team will touch you. The Essendon team of 2001.

I suggest you take a good look at your own team, before bagging another - especially when they are winners !!! Port are in good form at the moment, and are the only team undefeated in the competition. On current form they should go on and win the damn thing.. Well done Port and good luck next week.

Well Crow54, its not like you haven't done that before. You have probably been doing that for the last 10 seasons with the Crows.

Well done, Power on making the final. Only one concern, where was the crowd?

Yeah! - we could have beaten them by 10 goals if more people had turned up http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Same excuses the crows fans made last week!!
7.10 game start which made it hard for people who have jobs to get there on time. 7.30 television start. PLUS $15 to get into the ground added up. I wasnt happy with paying 15 dollars, but i still went. Whereas the crows got 20,000 and they got in for free

Well done to the Power on the win over North, you are showing some good early form. I do have some long term concerns over your forward line as you can't rely on Wanganeen to kick 5 every week and there were a few flukey goals. However no one really stood out for you suggesting a good overall team effort.
I expect to see Port win next week, but did you play your grandfinal this week.

The way the Lions were celebrating after the siren last night, you could ask the same question of them.
If Brisbane do win the final, hopefully that will stir Port up to win the 'replay' two weeks later...

Are you talking about the 15,000 who went to see two Victorian teams in the other semi, or Port v Roos, which drew 3000 more?
