Its been a while since I last saw Port play in a Grand Final....
and boy was it great !!!!
I've been to watch the PAMFC play and that reminded me so much of our last SANFL GF in 1996, I loved them as they maintained our history and tradition in the SANFL.
But saturday night is what we got the Port Adelaide Football Club out of the SANFL and into the AFL for ...or part of the reason, i.e. a grand final. Though our focus after the practice run is firmly on the real season
I cant wait to see us dominating a league again, only a drought of 4 years since the last league...
34 premierships...The tradition continues.....

I was thinking the same thing. The way they went about it was very reminiscent of the true Port Adelaide tradition in finals- totally hard at the ball, enthusiatic, determined, aggressive.

Congratulations on your first pre-season AFL/VFL flag - well deserved.
It will be interesting to see how things develop over the next few years - could we see an all Magpie grand final (so to speak?) - unlikely at best I would have thought but a possibility...

And you need a composite SANFL side to do it which isn't really the real Port Adelaide
We all know the real Port are in the SANFL as they are the ones who are feared and respected
As for the Power - no one gives a stuff becasue they will never win anything important!
