Col Austen Trophy Night

Time: 7pm for 7.30 start

This night is a great way to celebrate the successes of the 2010 Season with the Development Squad winning the Premiership and the seniors finishing in the top 4

Congratulations go to Ed Curnow and David Mirra for winning the Senior and Development Squad Best and Fairest Awards. The top voters in the counts [5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for H & A plus Finals] were as follows:

The even spread of votes in the DS highlighted the depth of the team and was the key behind winning the premiership. Other awards went to Luke Andrews [Most Courageous], Kris Nye [Team First Award], Ben Fagan [Most Improved] and Chris Hogel [Leading Goal Kicker DT].

Great stuff - hh reporting the above.

Lets remember that Ed broke his leg in Rd 13 - a real achievement prior to that by Ed.

He also lead the VFL medal up to Rd 13.

Thanks for the reports guys. Unbelievable achievement from Ed Curnow to win given he missed greater than third of the season! Well done Ed!

The boys can take a lot out of this year. The boys have demonstrated they can play, they just need to do so more consistently and will be a force to be reckoned with in 2011.
