Wondering if anyother Essendon supporters would like to see Longy back at the football club as an assistant coach or mentor role? Thought he was be a great hero for our young indigenous kids and developing players. Post your thoughts in here?

Has he been involved in anything other than eating since he retired?
It'd be good to have past players hanging around the club but I don't think an official role is necessary.

hasnt he had a role with the AFL involving giving of talks etc to young indigenous players coming into the system?
& yes, full time coaching might get in the way of those trips to sizzlers et al;)

Dietitian.
Doesn't leave much space for Rissolio.
And he needs a fair bit.

While we are on the topic of old players coming back into the fold I'd love to see the likes of Mercuri, Misiti, Bewick, Wanganeen and others around the place..

Love to see Bewick
Bewick might not be welcomed back, after he took the club on regarding long service leave after he retired.
As for Long, I can't see why he can't be at the club - I'd have him on the board next to Jimmy.

He`s a busy man Longy, wouldn`t want to be tied down to Essendon I`d say.
