Essendon and James Hird leading every single news medium in town since yesterday afternoon, knocking Collingwood and St Kilda out of the ball park only 2 days after the most epic Grand Final of all time.:D

Already had 3 mates call me today to say they are joining up next season lol. After years of egging them on, it took the great one 3 minutes.

And people who look up league sites for their reactions to AFL news prove them right...
Bomber Thompson got lead story on the news last night, hopefully that'll be an Essendon story soon as well.
I would of thought the biggest news in Adelaide was Goodwin joining Essendon :D
The only reason Cows fans like Goodwin coming to Essendon is they reckon it'll be good for him to gain coaching experience elsewhere and then return home to take the top job once Mumbles is done.
At least they recognise he needs to come to a real club to learn the caper rather than be an inbred coach.

that's my belief.
In 2-3 years all things being equal we will knock off Collingwood on and off the field.
We will see passion in the stands again as well becuase the players will play as if their life depends on it.

Hird is Essendon, so essentially it is the size of Essendon :D
There is a saying "Collingwood sells newspapers". I think we can successfully re-word that after yesterday.
