I am thinking of a sports writing project and am interested to hear from people that would be keen to contribute on a casual or regular basis to a regular sports newsletter.

You can be either a practicing sportswriter, journalist or simply someone who loves to write about sport.

People with photographic and multimedia skills are also encouraged to apply.

Part of the project is to create an independent sports writing agency for freelance sports writers and photographers.

I was the editor of the shamelesly entertaining but ultimately doomed ShirtFront Australian Football magazine in 2002. I have also edited and written for numerous street press publications, industry magazines and websites.

if you are interested please email me, Phil Doyle, at mountainsporttv@iprimus.com.au

How much would a first edition of ShirtFront be worth these days? They would be worth a mint in 50 years time!

Mine went out with the recycling one dark and stormy night in Coburg...

I'd give it a Roses Family Assortment rather than a Black and Gold packet of Chocolate Bullets. :p

Thanks to everyone who has replied. You will be contacted shortly about the newsletter once a format has been decided upon, probably by the end of August.
