Congrats go to Dougy for a great year in both Test and ODI cricket, deserving his honours in both sides of the year. Well earned spot for Katich in the Test side of the year and a surprise but well earned spot for Harris in the ODI team of the year. :thumbsu:

Great page for the stats of the players nominated. Sehwag and Tendulkar I can agree with but Watson would feel robbed of the ODI award. Looks like they just gave it to the guy with the best average.

AB is a fantastic player though, versatile. Good with the gloves (have heard people rate him above Boucher, but he prefers to play as batsmen only) and in the field. Obviously his batting speaks for itself.

Bollinger has been great for our side, works hard and with persistence comes wickets. Talked to him back in November at the s/shield game and he said he was very hopeful of playing test cricket by December. Took a cruisy 5 wickets, got the call up that night to fly interstate to replace Hilfy. (Injury) Hasn't looked back since.

Watson not in the test team?

You would think so but there was 10 bat's who statistically had a better year than him. Sehwag's average of 85.46 is phenominal.
I guess Kallis is the all-rounder in the team too.
