F*** I wish some of these blokes were around now. Any one of them would walk into the current side.
I'm sure there's a few I've missed too so feel free to contribute.

Boof and MacGill, neither of their faces would fit though.

Jamie Siddons (unluckiest cricketer ever, a personal favourite!)
Darren Lehmann (c)
Darren Berry

This team in their prime would beat our current test team, and this was probably the second XI from the golden era of:
Hayden
Langer
Ponting
M.Waugh
S.Waugh
Symonds/Martyn
Gilchrist
Warne
Lee
Gillespie
McGrath

MacGill would be very, very handy right now. If it weren't for Warne, he'd have played a shitload of Test cricket, and take a LOT of wickets.
I wouldn't mind an in-form Kasper as well.
Yeah MacGill by the length of the Strait. We'd have retained our top billing with his inclusion.
MacGill would be awesome.

Andy Bichel wouldn't hurt right now.

Ryan Campbell (+)
Andy Bichel

Stuart MacGill
12th - Damien Fleming
This is an XI I'd pick from blokes who were unlucky not to play a lot more test cricket in their prime. Bit of WA bias with Angel and Campbell in there but those guys were gems IMO. Handy looking team!
MacGill would be useless - Ponting would take him off the moment he bowls a bad over.

Andy Bichel to keep tearing in...

Needs more Bowlologist.
soft spot for reiffel, economical but not a lot of wickets, handy lower order bat.
phil jaques if we could find a spot... would have to be another one of those older middle order batsmen we have a fondness for (north / hussey / hodge).
symonds...
if i couldn't have macgill i'd have hogg. should have had better bowling test stats.
