once again sorry for intruding
just wondering how you all rate this guy
ive seen a little bit of him and im quite impressed
he was quite good tonight, particularly early in the match
he does have good skills and hands and looked as if he needed to build up a bit which he seems to have done over summer
i think he is 21 now so i guess he would really need to step up this year, do u think he will, was only a late inclusion tonight, so is there a spot for him in the side?
I saw Williams play twice last year and wasn't impressed. However his Ansett Cup form was quite impressive. With Farmer being out I'dve thought he'd get a chance but he wasn't picked in Round 1 and was only a late replacement for Green tonight.
I thought he looked pretty classy tonight however The Wizard is due back on Monday so it'll be interesting to see if he holds his spot.

Well he is no Greeny (oh poor thing is sick http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/frown.gif) or Farmer but he most defenetly has potential and can go far.
Another impressive young player was Jolly who had his first game yesterday and seems to be doing ok... with Whitey being one of the best rucks in the comp. you can hardly expect him to step up but he did alright and was showing possitive signs... over all well done guys!

williams is a very good player, but before this yr, hadn't really got the opportunity to shine.
i think for him, this yr is a make or beak yr, but i'm sure he'll suprise us all, and do very well!!!

Dees01 you gotta give young players a chance.
All players have sh!t days and i think that Williams is a good player that will step up if only given the oppurtunity.
You know what they say- one man's unfortune is anothers fortune, and greeny pulling out of the side didnt give him much time to prepare yet he stepped up pretty well!
On that note lets hope that Jolly steps up coz if it wasnt for Breese's knee (poor thing http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/frown.gif) Joll would still be on rookies list!

I have to be honest and I hate bagging players, but I don;t rate Williams either.
Sounds bad, hey guys, but this game is now professional, and we do have to go for the best if we are ever going to win that flag.

Saw him play today (yesterday, whatever), skills looked poor. Looks a fringe player at best.

i don't think that putting williams on yesterday at a very critical stage of the game was very wise (than again i didnt think that letting neita play forward was wise either but who listens to me anyway? http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/frown.gif). Williams missed a very important goal (it was out of the full :eek http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif, although it wasn't a very hard angle, but i think that every player has his bad days and while we don't get stuck into farmer or yze or whitey or schwarta when they do i dont think we should when williams does just coz he is a new player.
I think Jolly did alright yesterday (moving onto another topic)and i think that now with whitey a bit stuffed (excuse the expression) Jolly will have a bigger role especially with such an important game next week (for god sake why do both our rucks have to be injured!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/frown.gif)
Ok well thats all...

I can not work out how this bloke has kept his spot. I will be amazed if he is still in after this week. He was not good yesterday.

I thought Willo was great vs The Crows. However he looked lost vs Geelong and will be dropped I'd say. He'll be back though!
