Only a month away now. My Boxing Day ticket arrived yesterday, and I'm planning on attending all 5 days of the Test if possible. Loved the little thing Ticketek sent it in too, thought that was a nice touch.

However shit we may be at the moment, I'm excited by the prospect of a really even Ashes series. We haven't had one down here in over 20 years. I'm looking to see if Watto can take his game to another level, if Ponting can deliver the series win he sorely needs, if Clarke can rise to the challenge and lead us to an Ashes win, if Hussey can get back to what we know he can do. I'm also looking forward to seeing a young bloke get his chance if (when) North gets dropped. If Paine can step up to the plate in a big pressure series. Can Mitch Johnson lead us like we know he can? Will Bollinger get back to his explosive best? Etc, etc.

And that's just the Australian side of things, there's just as much on the England side, plus all the other unexpected things that come up during a 5 Test series. Can't wait.

Ill be more excited if Hussey and North get the boot, not really feeling it ATM but sure I will when it gets closer.
Either that or hate for Hilditch, Nielson and co will get stronger.

Haven't been to a test match for probably 15 years, but I bought tickets for the Sunday of the Adelaide test, and I'm really excited about it.

Hopefully the weather turns out OK.

Ended up buying 8 tickets, but only have 4 definites so far. I'm sure I'll find people keen on a big day!
