I wondered if any Shameless fans were aware that their fans mainly hale form the area Shameless is set in/modeled on.

I remember as a youngster travelling around the north of england/midlands watching div 1 in the early 70s.

No while it was a tough time for soccer violence, and man utd fans had a public reputation, I found the only issues I had were in visiting Man city.

And I was in a family group of older guys and me, a teeneger.

Those scumbags swore at us, spat at us and in a crowd, one stretched over and pulled my scarf as tight round my neck as they could. Thai happened on two different occasions

fairly tame, but at all other grounds we were left well alone, like at the footy here.

Mind you you only have to watch shameless to see why

What would they call a yorkshire born huddersfield fan ? Thats what I am.

I'd call them arses, "Arse and lemon with your G & T ?"

The other night just proved how doesn't matter how much you spend you're still small time.
Perfect chance at home against an ordinary Utd side and they bottled it by playing like an away side.
Could they be more Giddy,Rooney shirts, Kaka tattoos.
