25 years on and it's still the funniest show on TV.
Hasselhoff's acting is perfectly acceptable 65% of the time, and bloody hilarious for the remainder.

Mind you some of the writing doesn't do him any favours.
Hoff: "I'm looking for such and such"
BarGirl: "Oh hello, I've never heard of such and such, can you describe him?"
Hoff: "lol . . . he's me".
BarGirl: "hehe" (wtf).
Even though i've watched it several times on dvd dating back to when they all gradually came out. I am rewatching the episodes on 7mate, and i'm getting flashbacks to when i watched them on first run tv (channel 9 from memory) all those years ago.
Agree with the acting, but it adds to the 80's charm. I love "The Hoff's) "walk", trying to act all serious and cool :p.

This was my favourite show growing up. Only now though i've noticed the cheesy acting and the outfits. Geez the clothes were horrible.

It's funny how lame and inconsequential Michael's missions are; like the one where he had to drive Kitt as a stunt car for a whole episode to attract bigger crowds to Slammin' Sammy's stunt show.
Skippy is probably funnier, btw, especially when Skippy uses the CB radio to get a message through to the ranger in the chopper & the ranger understands what Skippy's saying.
Yeah I liked it when i was a kid too, but it hasn't aged well :o
What's funny though is in EVERY revisit (Knight Rider tv movie, failed 2008 series etc), i've always wanted the original KITT car to be THE car used. It still has a "cool" factor to me, i'd update the dashboard so it looked more modern.... but i wouldn't change much else.
Then again, there's this:

I guffawed when I frist learnt about this Co.
