Cess, McGrath and Mercuri off that bench to miss, methinks...
i think cess may stay in and play down forward to trouble the dogs with height... strong team pity theres no rama tho
please oh please play Shane Harvey! was superb against bulldogs last time, one of my favourites! also looking foward to Johns lining up at full forward for us next week v tigers, should be exciting! If Harvey plays, Mercs will not and if Welsh is given another week to rest Hall will play, otherwise i think the bench will be Ces, Harvs (pleeaassee), Bullen, Haynes

I was very impressed how Haynes played on saturday against the scum. Looks like a good midfield prospect. Timely too considering Ramas unfortunate absence :(

If you check the Round 18 VFL teams:
Bendigo:
B: T McGrath, Hunt, Howard.
HB: Forster-Knight, Henneman, Davies.
C: Hall, Mercuri, Harvey.
HF: M Brown, Lay****, Richards.
F: Lovett-Murray, Johns, Walsh.
R: O'Keefe, Carter, Cail.
Inter from: Rosa, Hawkins, Bowen, Bovalino, Fitzgerald, Eaton, Campbell, Doherty, Woodford, D Schmidt
Hall, Harvey and Mercuri are all named, but there's no Cory McGrath. It looks like he might actually get a game this week.

Disappointed not to see Teddy come in for Mercs and get a game this week...
I would've thought by now we knew better than to trust team lists until 10 minutes before the opening bounce :)

Hall, Harvey, and Mercs were all dropped after training this morning. Which means McGrath gets a game.
I wouldn't mind seeing him played off a wing.
I also think we need to play another tall up forward to exploit Footscray's lack of height. It might serve us well to have Hille or Cess playing up forward. Would take pressure off Lloyd and give Darcy something to think about.
Brown kicked 5 against us in Round 4, obviously he is the one to worry about, even though his form hasn't been great of late.
