He looks to have plenty of courage on his attack on the ball as well. Here's hoping that he can have a big year in 2011 !

is it just me or do you mentally say "stri-g-ck" when you read/spell his name?

Played well on saturday. Great pace out of the middle and delivered to the forwards on a silver platter (when he wasnt kicking the goal straight through the middle himself). Think it is time to get him back in the side

Half Time WP v SF Striker has 12 kicks 1 handball 5 marks and 4 goals. Dont know where he is at with his defensive work but as a finishing winger half forward hes killing it today

You guys have probably got bigger things on you minds but what happened to Strijk this year. I thought he looked great last year, the club obviously agreed elevating him to the main list.
Only 1 game though this year. Was he injured during the year? or all of pre-season? or with your teams improvement just couldn't get a look in?

Injury has ruined his form this year in the WAFL. ALso heart surgery to repair a defect last week

Thanks Chris. I really hope heart surgery isn't as serious as it sounds and look forward to seeing him back to his best next year. Great player to watch i reckon.

Is he contracted for next year? Maybe he will try to get a trade to another club. Would be a good fit for GWS. I hope not though.

I think Strijk is a depth player at the eagles. A good outside goalkicking player. Cover for Embley/Gaff/Nicoski etc. Good pace and disposal, just a slight lack of football nouse, getting in the right areas etc.

Not sure if you have one but i would easily give our pick 12 this year for Strijk and an average player you don't want with very good leadership skills.

^ Strange offer.
Would consider it. Not sure if we have anyone who particularly fills the second part of the bill.
Still think you'd be losing the trade though.
