RAMANAUSKAS TO COMMENCE RADIOTHERAPY
Wednesday, August 13, 2003
Biopsy results have revealed Adam Ramanauskas has low-grade cancer in his neck and shoulder region. In a boost for Adam, specialists have given an encouraging prognosis and the club is hopeful he will be back playing next season. Adam will shortly commence intensive radiotherapy. His treatment will take place five days a week and be completed within six weeks. Adam is in good spirits and wants to thank everyone who has sent him messages of support.
-------------------------
Its good that's just a low grade, and it seems possible that he could play footy again.
Lets hope the therapy clears it out of him and he can begin to play some good footy again.
