Fall Out Boy

Finally Frontline is returning to television, on The Comedy Channel.
Given there isn't going to be a DVD release, it might be my last chance to see what was one of the greatest Australian shows of all time.

No DVD release ?
Damn, what a disapointed.
Luckily for me, my local library has like 3-4 Frontline videos, so I can catch up still from time to time :)
One of the finest comedies/satires of the 90s

They sold the rights, and in any case, the Working Dog crew don't really care for DVD.
It took years for them to finally get around to working on a DVD release for 'The Castle', despite the knowledge that it will make them plenty of that proverbial phat cash.

I heard they will also be doing a Frontline marathon-definitely worth taping that.

The Late Show came out on DVD a long time ago. It's a shame Frontline isn't coming out on DVD.

They did an excellent job with both 'The Late Show' DVD and 'The Dish' DVD.
Hopefully 'The Castle' gets similar treatment when it's released.

HMV had signs up about it being released later in the year with details about pre-ordering it.
No official confirmation yet though.
It will probably be a barebones version, but even that is better than the rather ordinary R1 version that has been out there for a few years.

Hopefully they put a bit of effort into these DVD releases.
Part of the reason I haven't bought the first series of Frontline on DVD is the complete absence of extras.
The Castle DVD isn't much better.
A great show such as Frontline deserves a proper DVD release - it would be great to have audio commentaries and other behind the scenes info.

Have the first Season on DVD - i couldn't care less about the extras on this series as the gold is the show itself.
But mark down 23rd March - i will have those DVDS!!

Yes!
I'll be buying those as soon as I see them, extras or not it's the episodes that really matter.
