KEVIN Sheedy was up to his old tricks on a visit to Adelaide yesterday, stirring the pot about Crows forward Taylor Walker's possible move to Greater Western Sydney next year.
Walker, 20, who hails from Broken Hill, is out of contract at the end of the year and has been linked to GWS in recent months. Asked if Walker would look good in a GIANTS guernsey, Sheedy said: "Absolutely. Why not? Broken Hill, that's our zone. We want him back."
The GIANTS coach said that with former Power mentor Mark Williams on board in Blacktown, no SA players were off limits.
"We will definitely be talking to all the Adelaide players we can and the Port Adelaide players (while he and club CEO Dale Holmes were in town). Because (assistant coach) Mark Williams is just getting their numbers right now. If you let Mark Williams go, he's dangerous."
